Biography

Mark Zimmerman has always been a true believer of giving his clients great pricing, great customer satisfaction along with great service. Growing up in the Quad-Cities and in the family automobile business his father started back in the 1950's ,Mark spent his time from age 12 forward working on the custodial duties and chores like painting the dealership building in downtown Rock Island.Later on Mark went on to college at the General Motors Institute in Flint,Michigan pursuing his engineering degree and thereafter to the University of Iowa in Iowa City,Iowa to obtain his business degree.Returning back to the Quad-Cities and the Rock Island dealership in 1974 to help his father,Fred Zimmerman,with the day-to-day operation along with co-founder Allen Horst, the rich heritage of Cadillac,Pontiac and later on Oldsmobile still lives on in memory of those great brands.Horst-Zimmerman Cadillac,Pontiac,Oldsmobile and Honda became simply Zimmerman Honda in 2008 as the heritage of being one of the original 100 Honda automobile dealers in the United States still lived on and that heritage is very evident as the only Quad-Cities locally owned Honda dealership at our brand new state of the art dealership facility at 70th Street and John Deere Road in Moline Illinois opened August 27th, 2012!
